Jon Stungevicius received a Bachelor of Science degree from McMaster University in 1982 and has been involved in recruitment since 1990. From 1990 to 2000 Jon focused on the recruitment of highly specialized professional and leadership talent for the technology industry. Since 2000, Jon expanded his search practice to include a broad variety of disciplines (finance, human resources, information technology, public sector, not-for-profit, healthcare, business operations, etc) while refocused his search practice to align with executive recruitment, executive assessment and the management of large-scale recruitment initiatives as a result of organizational transformation. During his career Jon has successfully led over 200 executive search assignments in the both the broader public and private sector and has conducted search assignments on both a provincial and national basis. As a result Jon has staffed positions in both rural an urban locations and is familiar with the challenges of recruitment in different geographic regions.
From an industry perspective Jon works across all verticals, from a public sector perspective Jon’s experience includes government at the federal, provincial and provincial levels which includes funded agencies, commissions, healthcare and a range of not-for-profits. From a private sector perspective Jon’s experience has covered a range of verticals which includes, technology, financial services, retail and manufacturing.
